A native of Chicago, Dr. Breadon attended Loyola University Medical school at Chicago. She performed her internship in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois Hospitals where she was Chief Resident. She then completed a second residency in Dermatology at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Breadon is on staff at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where she is co-director of Dermatologic Surgery. When not treating patients, she teaches dermatologic surgery to the dermatology residents at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, and is a frequent consultant for many Chicago and national news stations, and has appeared as a guest consultant on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Dr. Breadon is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American College of Emergency Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons, past-president of the Illinois Dermatologic Society. She is also a member of the National Medical Association, The Dermatology Foundation, The Skin of Color Society, The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine, and the Women's Dermatological Society.

The physician has the knowledge but the wait time and the bedside manners were very unsatisfactory. I wouldn't recommend this practice, because I was put off by the atmosphere and that has a huge impact to patient adherence to care and patient understanding of disease and condition. My experience was that I was told to come in minutes early to fill out paperwork and start my appointment in time. After I filled out my paperwork, I had to wait 20 minutes after the appointment before I was taken into a patient room. Then, in the patient room I waited almost 40 minutes before the physician entered. When the physician entered, she didn't introduce herself or apologize for the long wait time or even explain why the wait was so long. The lack of acknowledgement was extremely aggravating. After that, my meeting with her last 5 minutes. For this 5 minute meeting, I waited one hour and 15 minutes with no explanation. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

I had multiple appointments with Dr.Breadon, and she was very kind and helpful. She got me started on a medication that helped on of my skin issues incredibly. When I needed this prescription refilled again, I was told I had to make another appointment to get a refill. I was then informed the doctor would not be available for over a month. When I asked what a solution to this problem would be, because I needed the medication ASAP, I was told they weren't referring patients anywhere and there was nothing they could do for me. I understand doctors are busy, but I had no idea I had to make another appointment to get my meds refilled, and the front desk was incredibly unhelpful and unsympathetic. I had to find a new doctor and start all over. While I very much liked Dr.Breadon I will not be going back.

I really like Dr. Breadon! I found her on ZocDoc over a year ago and I've visited her several times as I'm being treated for hair loss. While she is awesome, I consistently wait 45-1hr to see her. A staff member mentioned that they were understaffed and apologized for the consistently long waits but I think I'll start looking elsewhere.

My daughter and I went to see her on two separate occasions. My daughter, who is 14, really liked the doctor and her professionalism. And after seeing the fast results, I decided to go. The nurse was very nice and helpful and the doctor was great. The visit was nice and quick and they answered all my questions. I have already recommended Dr. Breadon to some of my co-workers.

I have seen Dr. Breadon on several occasions and I have found her to be insincere and unfocused during appointments. Her staff is cold; I've never seen one of them smile or offer a kind word during patient visits. It is difficult to get questions answered when contacting her office staff.
I'm not seen as a valued patient or customer at this practice; I'm just a number.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Office asked to reschedule and for me to come in early. Came in early for my appointment and waited over an hour to see the Dr. The appointment was even worse than the waiting. Dr. did not follow up with culture results and insisted I use her unknown, independent pharmacy who also never called me. Bedside demeanor quickly went downhill after I refused a shot I didn't need.

Dr. Breadon is great! You can tell, immediately, her vast knowledge on skin issues. I went in, originally, just for face and body acne, and she saw that I had a keloid on my chest, that my past Doctor wasn't able to get completely flat, and now it's as though I never had the scar in the first place! My acne has also majorly cleared, which is ah-may-zing! The only downside to her, is that she really does push certain products even after your clear reluctance on them, besides that she is fantastic at what she does.
