Dr Jose Loor, is a compassionate, caring, and highly skilled doctor-surgeon. He is among the best trained foot and ankle specialists in the country.
Dr Loor is a board certified podiatrist who has completed one of the most intensive surgical residencies at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Foot and Ankle Trauma Preceptorship with AO North America. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners and American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is the only Podiatric member of the advanced orthopedic foundation AO Trauma in NYC. Furthermore, Dr Loor is one of the youngest podiatrists to be a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine. He devotes his time to provide the best care for his patients. He is a faculty member at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and trains students and resident podiatrists to provide the optimal care for all patients. He is also a commissioned officer in the Medical Service Corps and serves as the only Podiatric surgeon in the 4220th US Army Hospital in the subspeciality of Podiatric Trauma.
Dr Loor holds practicing licenses in NY, NJ, PA, CT, FL and Ontario. He is one of the best trained foot and ankle surgeons in North America and has volunteered in NY Medical Reserve Corps and NY and Boston Marathons.

He stood me up and never showed for our appointment. I wasted four hours that day waiting around after work for this appointment and then commuting to and from the appointment, in addition to waiting for him for 70 minutes. His stats has no idea where he was and couldn’t get ahold of him. Extremely unprofessional. I will give him that he called himself to apologize but blamed it on being stuck with a patient at the hospital where he doesn’t have good reception because it’s an old building. Last I checked, hospitals have land lines. Color me unimpressed. Then he gave me a referral for an X-ray and sent some medications for the pain, which I later found out he sent to the wrong pharmacy, further wasting my time.
