Dr. Loor is amazing! He really listened to the problems I've been having with my foot and gave me treatment options for immediate care as well as what he can do for the long term solutions. Really nice and very easyto talk to. I felt so relieved leaving his office finally having a plan for my feet. Nice office staff as well. Highly recommend!

Seen right away - that being said there is no x ray machine at this office and they will have you go to the nearby hospital and come back. Doctor was lacking in common sense a really wasted my time. a30-45 minute appointment and x rays turned into a 2 and a half hour ordeal - 3 taxi rides and NO answers. Left because there was no point to be there and they couldn't give me an answer. Pass on this place

Dr. Loor truly takes his time when viewing the patient. He get's to know your story besides just your symptoms. As an Army doctor, Dr. Loor understands the amount of stress impacts we soldiers go through to complete our mission. Ibarely had to describe to him regarding my pain. He just knew! Without any hesitation I will recommend Dr. Loor to anyone on any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Thank you Dr. Loor, for everything you do!

I met with Dr. Mark Sharobeem about a inflammation on the top of my foot. After looking at an xray for 1 minute he told me I needed surgery on both feet within the next 6 months and if I waitedmuch longer it would get much worse. After not giving any sort of description of what the issue was, I went to another doctor to check on the issue. The doctor told me I simply need to get new shoes and there was irritation with the ones I currently wear. I understand diagnoses can vary - but the insistence on me getting surgery without providing other options tells me either that he has no idea what he is talking about or is misleading patients

My visit to Dr Loor office went extremely well, from start to finish. I walked in, signed some medical paperwork and then 5min later my name was called to see the dr. I was seen by one of Dr Loors associates. She's excellent, providing outstanding bedside manners, and educating me about my medical condition in a way that I actually understand. which ultimately will help me make better health choices, both in terms of prevention and treatment.

After many years of seeing several different podiatrists who would just prescribe me only home remedies that they sold in their office which failed and I would continually have the fungus come back I have finally found a true life saver.I was developing ingrown toenails due to my fungus. Every summer I would have to wear closed toe shoes and only at times open when my feet could no longer stand closed toe shoes due to my fungal infections continually returning. It would be extremely horrifying and humiliating to walk outside as sometimes I would have to wear sandals due to my feet sweating too much in other shoes. Dr, Loor listened very patiently as I cried of my embarrassment and how it became painful and a stench kept on returning to my foot with my nails crusting and yellowish. Dr. Loor has given me the only treatment that has worked with my nails, advanced jublia antifungal clear nail polish and oral meds as well as laser treatment. He is excellent in patient care. He is very knowledgeable and he has added valuable time to my life as I am able to come to work easily and feel at ease wearing open-toed shoes and not get embarrassed anymore as there is no longer the extra stench of my fungal nails when I go the gym. His Bensonhurst Brooklyn office was very nice and the staff was very supportive. Thanks Dr Loor for helping me with my now beautiful foot modeling nails.

I knew when I made the appointment that I wouldn't know who I would see as it's a practice with a number of locations but only one doctor's name listed. So, it was the luck of the draw. I was verypleased with the doctor I saw, Dr. Jones and with the nurse, Tiffany, who took the x-rays. Both professionals were kind and patient and I had every confidence in the diagnosis and suggested treatment plan. I do plan on making appointments there again, and asking for Dr. Jones in the future.

Dr. Loor is extraordinary. I have been his patient for over a year now. He has treated me with excellent care. I started off seeing him for nail fungus which he successfully treated. I was very apprehensive when i had myinitial visit with him as i had had a terrible prior experience with a podiatrist and I had been postponing treatment but then I saw Dr Loor on zocdoc and saw all of his many credentials on Zocdoc and decided it was nevessary for me to get treatment. In the time i have been Dr Loors patient he not only successfully treated me for nail fungus but he also successfully treated me for plantar fasciitis and an osteochondral lesion. He uses advanced techniques. This summer has been the most pleasant one where i have been able to walk with ease and walk in sandals. I am so grateful to Dr. Loor. He has also educated me well about The treatment he has given me and about the best way to take care of my feet. He has been very kind And haa made me understand how to properly take care of my feet. I just had a follow up with him in his new Brooklyn office at Bay parkway and it is a fantastic office, beautifully setup. I highly recommend him.

I can say that I am very pleased with DeLoor Podiatry. I was referred to Dr Jose Loor by my friend who has had very good previous experience with this group of doctors in Manhattan location. I was glad to findout that DeLoor Podiatry has several locations in Brooklyn and one of them is located right next to my house in Bensonhurst. I am almost 8 months pregnant and due to the baby weight gain I started experiencing very bad back and arch pain while walking even for a short distance. I scheduled a consultation with Dr Jose Loor to discuss my options. Dr Loor took his time to evaluate my arch and bone structure. He told me about custom foot orthotics and about the importance to support my foot arches during pregnancy. His office is very well equipped with all sort of medical devices for fast and detailed evaluation. I found it very convenient especially for the patients who are in pain and can get diagnosed on the spot in stead of going to multiple locations just because the office has no proper equipment. I was scanned with 3D Laser scanner and am super excited to receive my custom foot orthotics for flats. Dr Loor was very kind to put a rush order for my insoles that I should receive in about 1 week. I would definitely recommend Dr Loor and DeLoor Podiatry to everyone who is looking for a good and caring doctor.

My appointment with Dr Loor was very good. Few days ago I was shopping in the local store in Bensonhurst and going down the corridor I sliped on the wet floor and twisted my ankle. I was in pain and decidedto visit a foot and ankle doctor right away. I went on zocdoc and booked an apointment with Dr Loor. The booking process was fast and easy. When I arrived to my apointment my ankle was swollen. Doctor Loor was ready to see me right away. He asked me how the trauma happened, gently touched my ankle and advised on taking an X-Ray. To my luck the bone was not broken just a big bruise and a stretched ligament. Dr Loor recommended further MRI evaluation. He gave me an ankle walker and a night splint to limit my foot motion while walking and asleep. I also got some prescriptions for oral and topical medications to help with my recovery. I have to admit that Dr Loor and his staff are professional and organized. They helped me schedule an apointment with the MRI office for the complete evaluation of my stretched ligament. Dr Loor's office was clean and newly renovated with cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Dr Loor to my friends who are looking for a good and knowledgeble foot and ankle doctor. It is the best office I have been to in all of Brooklyn.

The BEST Podiatrists in the NYC area. I highly recommend the Deloor Podiary practice and all their doctors. They don't disappoint and treat every patient with respect and genuine care. So here's my story, I had the pleasure of getting towork with Dr. Loor after a traumatic foot injury. A number of glasses crashed onto my foot, resulting in few large wounds. I immediately went onto ZocDoc to look for someone who could handle foot inguries + trauma cases. Dr. Loor stood out above the rest and has not disappointed me. Since seeing him for the first time in July 2016, he's continued to be nothing short of amazing at all aspects of his job. He happened to be dealing with combat trauma cases with the army the day I scheduled the appointment, so he couldn't make it during the day. That said, I went into the office anyway and met with his assistant who was very helpful. She mentioned I could text him so I did and he responded immediately with a call. He was on his way back from the Army and came straight to the office on Sunday night when he was done (10pm) to stitch up my foot. He did an impeccable job with the stitches and put me at ease about the entire process. He even gave myself and my best friend a ride back to our apartment and even offered us girl scout cookies that someone had given him at the Army fort. The stitches were the immediate fix but he knew there was more to be done. We went into a cleaning surgery the following Friday + EDL repair and nerve repair. He had a car pick me up from my apartment at the crack of dawn that took me safely to the surgery center he uses in New Jersey. The surgery was a painless process, I was out in less than an hour, and he made sure to eliminate the pain by numbing the area for over 48 hrs (amazing!) I've continued to work with Dr. Loor over the last month and he has been so thoughtful about the way he handles me as a client, as I'm very sensitive to needles and get nauseous easily. He took the stitches out with care, and didn't rush the healing. He was always willing to keep a stitch in if it wasn't fully healed. I've never felt like he's been in a hurry to get to another patient. Throughout this process I can confidently say that he is a best in class Podiatrist and if I ever have any other injuries or need work on my feet, he will 100% be the first person I reach out to.

There were no other doctors visible to me at the office during my appt. Even thoughinitially, on ZocDoc, Dr Loor is the name I saw. Office Assistant - admin / reception person Josue extremely helpful with the beginning process, forms, insurance, history, etc, etc. Great person to person. Hey Guys, So, I have been a patient of Dr. Loor for 7 months now. He and his team are the best! They are very knowedgeable about the field they work on. I had seen another podiatrist before Jose but noone compares. Dr. Loor is an amazing surgeon who tries to find the best solution for your issue: something that will be effective yet short in healing time and that will leave the smallest scar. Personally, I am a control freak most times and Jose is one of the few people that I have been able to fully trust. He always explains the process, answers all your questions, and is very reassuring. The best thing is that Dr. Loor and his team make you feel at home and part of the family instantly. You get right away that they genuinely care about making you feel better. If I had to go again through any foot fracture/healing again (hopefully not because I love dancing too much), Jose and his team would be the ones I would want by my side! Bonus points: Dr. Loor is not just a podiatrist running his own office/business but he is also an active teacher. He also speaks Spanish :)

Everyone in the office is great. Very professional and nice. But the communication with the office and the doctor is not very reliable. I was told multiple times that I would receive a call from the doctor after she checks somethings up but I never got the call. I had to follow up on requests to receive prescriptions. And a few times I called during the business hours, got no response so left a voice mail with my name and phone number and never received a call back... Small but very irritating details.

Dr. Loor was a great first-time podiatrist. He knew I was nervous about the terrible ingrown toenail I had, and explained thoroughly what he was going to do to treat it every step of the way. He provided plenty of post-opcare advice, and thoroughly checked how things were healing in the follow-up. Definitely recommended!

Dr was very friendly, patient and thorough with treatment for plantar fascitis. He not only gave me a shot for the pain using a computer, which some doctors don't even bother doing, to precisely pinpoint the inflammation. The doctor also madea splint. It was to be used inside the shoe while walking to keep the pressure off the heel which other doctors did not do. I found the splint very helpful. In short, he provided care and concern.

I visited 3 times for a foot fracture. Took 2 weeks, 3 visits to identify my injury. First visit: Prescribed corticosteroid for inflammation. I don't think this is good practice for bone injuries. 2nd visit: Had to wait 70 minutes beyondset appointment time, and could only be seen for 5 minutes before my next engagement that evening. Received no care or new information. Just appt. for MRI. 3rd visit: Read MRI. Did not have cam boot on site. Recommended pharmacy was not open. I had to walk to 5 different pharmacies on fractured foot to find a boot. Had to pay outright for boot as they didn't have insurance. Did not see De Loor again. Overall: Do not visit for foot injuries.

I have been seeing Dr. Loor since August due to a metatarsal fracture that would not heal for years. He listened to all of my complaints, gave and explained the proper diagnosis, and gave me options for fixing the problems. Hewalked me through every step and I immediately felt better after the first visit. Since then Dr. Loor has performed two procedures to repair the fracture and I am beyond pleased with the experience thus far. I am still awaiting recovering, so I am nowhere close to knowing the final results. But thus far Dr. Loor and his ENTIRE team in the office are all friendly, comforting, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff all work hard to make sure insurance will cover your expenses. Dr. Loor makes himself available to patients if you have questions or concerns in between appointments and has made me feel more comfortable and been more helpful in treating than any of the many other doctors I have seen for this problem over the years.
