About Dr. Farah Naz
Dr. Farah Naz, DPM, FACFAS, is a Board Certified dynamic foot and ankle surgeon and specialist at AIRE Podiatry Studio, located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Dr. Naz holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and a Master’s degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She further advanced her education by earning her Doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Naz completed her residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital, where she received comprehensive training in trauma care, arthroscopic surgery for ankle injuries, and minimally invasive techniques for various conditions, including plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, bunions, and hammertoes. Her residency also included extensive experience in reconstructive surgery of the forefoot and rearfoot, as well as pediatric biomechanics and sports medicine.
An avid runner and hiker, Dr. Naz integrates her passion for sports into her practice, specializing in the rehabilitation of foot and ankle injuries. Being an athlete herself, she understands the unique needs of rehabbing a sports injury. She is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans that align with her patients' goals and lifestyles, combining her biomechanical and surgical expertise with a deep sense of compassion to deliver exceptional, individualized care.

Dr. Naz is so sweet and has an excellent bedside manner. I felt respected and listened to, while leaving with a treatment plan that I was happy with. Only issue was with wait time. It was longer than expected, but at least staff updated me at the 30 min mark to let me know— which is better than other doctor’s visits I’ve had in the past.

Dr. Naz is exceptional! She listened to me in reference to my issue and followed up with a very thorough and clear explanation as to what she and I need to do to heal it.
There was no speaking down to me, which I appreciate so much! She has an excellent bedside manner and is very easy to communicate with.
Dr. Naz is also quite knowledgeable, which is the most important aspect.
Anyone would be very lucky to have her as his/her/their podiatrist.

Dr. Naz is great—she’s intelligent, kind, empathetic, and forthright. I really respect her as a physician and was glad to have her as my doctor. Her staff are thorough, competent, and accommodating. She explained things in a digestible way and walked me through my treatment options so I was well informed. She’s also the only doctor who has ever actually told me something would hurt, which I really respected—often I find physicians tell you it’ll be “uncomfortable” instead of outright saying it’ll hurt and I end up being unpleasantly surprised. Needless to say Dr. Naz’s honesty was appreciated and refreshing. Overall, I was very pleased with the care I received and would highly recommend Dr Naz to anyone looking for a podiatrist.

I had a 5 minute conversation with the doctor and she proceeded to charge me an insane amount of money for only seeing my toe nails. She said nothing that was helpful and kept finding ways to see if she could get more money out of me even though it was clear I had nothing to worry about. She also kept hoping I would brake my ankle so I could get operated with her. I felt taken advantage of, not safe and just as if it were a toxic high school environment. You could tell she took advantage of me for my age, I’m international and didn’t have insurance. Wouldn’t recommend

Facilities, including bathroom, are pristine.

The doctor and the front office manager are both kind, patient, flexible and efficient. Within two days I had a diagnosis and imaging from an MRI that the doctor prescribed. She’s lovely, provides clear instructions and recommendations, and Dr. Naz gets to the crux of the problem faster than most. Plus, the office offers water and physical therapy. It’s a great place for anyone with painful foot problems for sure.
