All of the staff were very nice and friendly. Doctor Johns was excellent and answered all my questions I had.

I loved the friendly staff! I was very well taken care of and they were comforting. The woman who draws blood didn't share the same characteristics, but I will be coming back to see Dr. Johns himself and the staff-I've definitely chosen my obgyn and person to care for me and my baby with their show of compassion and genuine care and concern, very informative and great at developing rapport. I'll just probably request a different lab tech but even that won't deter me from returning. Overall, wonderful first impression.

Dr. Johns received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. He studied medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He completed his internship and residency in Houston at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is Board Certified in the area of obstetrics and gynecology. His compassionate nature and practical approach to medicine make Dr. Johns the perfect choice for women’s healthcare.
Dr. Johns was recently published in Gynecologic Oncology for a case study on a paraneoplastic syndrome and was a contributor in the book, Case Studies in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was the winner of the Pritchard Award for Excellence in Resident Research - 2000.
Dr. Johns is an accomplished musician and performed with the El Paso Symphony before medical school. He was an officer and naval aviator in the Marines for five years. He is also an avid fitness advocate who completed the Boston, Marine Corp., and Fiesta Bowl Marathons.
