Dr. Morra grew up in the Bronx, where he attended Fordham Preparatory School. A competitive athlete in tennis and baseball from a young age, Dr. Morra’s interest in understanding the body’s biomechanics led him towards a career in medicine.
An interest in foot and ankle disorders pulled him into podiatry as a specialty. He prides himself on treating every patient with the same diligence and care he would any of his family members.
Dr. Morra holds a B.S. in Biophysics from the University of Scranton and received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, a comprehensive three-year program in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of foot and ankle pathology. He is board-certified and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle pathologies both conservatively and surgically, focusing specifically on sports medicine, trauma, wound care, limb salvage, and musculoskeletal deformities of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Morra is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a candidate for certification by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
