About Dr. Matthew Pitre

Matthew Pitre, DPM was born and raised on Long Island. He completed his undergraduate studies at Adelphi University, graduating cum laude in 2016. Dr. Pitre attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 2020. Dr. Pitre completed a rigorous 3 year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Pitre was trained in both operative and non operative management of the foot and ankle pathology. His foot and ankle surgical training focused on diabetic limb salvage, deformity correction, and trauma. Dr. Pitre spent 2 months of his residency at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, where he received additional training in the management of advanced limb pathology. Dr. Pitre was awarded the honor of podiatry resident of the year during his senior year. He has successfully completed the ACFAS Arthroscopy of the Foot and Ankle Skills Course as well as the AO Internal Fixation Course. Dr. Pitre is currently board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is actively working towards board certification. Dr. Pitre prides himself on providing his patients with comprehensive, and personalized care. In his free time Dr. Pitre enjoys the great outdoors, classic car ownership, and time with family.
