I would not recommend. I've been a couple of times and am not returning. Wait times aren't too bad if they actually have your appointment that you made. Customer service is poor. Doesn't make me feel valued as a patient. Doc has a sense of humor but some of the policies leave a lot to be desired.

Dr. Stern is probably one of the best doctors I’ve seen. I had a sprained ankle from falling down the stairs. He took his time to examine me, discuss my pain. He went above and beyond to make sure I could walk without pain so my ankle could heal. He really cares about his patients. He doesn’t book 3-4 patients in 1 hr. He spends his time really understanding the problem. Highly recommended.

For the first time in over a year, I feel hopeful that the rest of my life won't be plagued by chronic foot pain (and other related areas e.g. lower back pain, knee alignment, etc). The only regret is not coming in sooner!

I saw Dr. Stern after the office of my original podiatrist said they had no availability and were double booked.
It turns out it was a good thing they were since it necessitated having tp find another one.
Upon entering, I am happy to say that the secretary at the desk was super nice and friendly!
I was seen with literally 0 wait time right away.
Dr. Stern took the time to get a whole picture of my chief and secondary complaints. He conducted a thorough intake, history and exam. I was struck by the attention to detail he placed on reviewing the medical records and in the exam.
By far, I would say Dr Stern has the best bedside manner I have ever come across in a medical provider. I never once felt rushed. He addressed all my concerns and questions.
I found Dr. Stern to be extremely profession and courteous with multiple drcades worth experience and expertise. He got right to the source of the contributing factors causing my condition and the treatment to help it.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED without reservation!

He's the best in every way. Very expert, caring, and let's you know exactly what's needed for a full recovery. I have gone to him for 8 years now when I have had foot pain or ankle sprains. Not his fault I'm a klutz!

if you desire being lectured to as if you are an errant grade school student/juvenile delinquent for having problems booking appointments with Dr. Stern, then have at it with him. He will turn on you like Dr.Jekyll becoming Mr. Hyde no matter who's present when he goes off. He will ever so gladly off the cuff denigrate you before strangers in defense of a website that has its occasional glitches, but for which Dr. Stern seems to have more empathy than a returning patient standing in front of him and others suffering from excruciating foot pain. OF COURSE, I am THE ONLY PATIENT ever to have had difficulties navigating the Zocdoc.com website, especially with Dr. Stern's office that has one foot firmly planted in the 20th century with his receptionist booking appointments through hard copy pen on paper, and its other foot precariously finding its footing in a medical booking website that has (like ALL other websites heretofore known to humankind) its occasional hiccups. So, if you masochistically seek a foot doctor who will ever so spontaneously degrade and berate you in front of strangers, Dr. Stern is your kind of proximate full-fledged doctor (from the ankle down). I think that maybe podiatrists are not required to take the Hippocratic Oath after my latest experience with Dr. Stern.
