Jossie received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida, where she graduated with honors in 2014. She also earned her Master's degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at FAU in 2018. Prior to joining Riverside Medical Group, Jossie worked as a Registered Nurse for five years on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Jossie is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Jossie believes in patient-centered care, where every patient is embraced and treated as a whole person-not just an illness. She has a strong desire to encourage patients to take an active role in their care plans by educating them with the best evidence-based practices. Recently married, Jossie moved to Northern New Jersey from South Florida. She has developed a newfound love of traveling and experiencing different cultures and their cuisines.
