I am a licensed clinical psychologist interested in helping people alleviate their suffering, improve their relationships, and understand themselves better. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, and relationship problems. I believe all people have positive potential that can sometimes be stifled and find it rewarding to help others work through their obstacles. I offer individual therapy and couples counseling and welcome clients of all ethnicities, genders, young adult through the elderly.
In addition to my private practice, I work at a New York City veteran's hospital. I have been trained in a wide range of theoretical approaches, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral (CBT). I integrate problem-solving and insight-oriented techniques to best serve my clients' individual needs.
Although I am currently unable to accept insurance, I will gladly provide you with documentation for obtaining reimbursement.
