Juan Z. Montes, M.D., M.P.H., completed his medical education at the Harvard Medical School and his internship at Harbor UCLA in Torrance, CA. Dr. Montes served his residency at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, CA specializing in Internal Medicine and later earned a Masters in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles.

He's a great doctor. He has a great staff. The facility is nice and clean. The only negative I had was making my first appointment. It would have taken many months to see him. So I had to see a PA first and he was terrible. The waiting time is probably because Dr. Montes is so good. He's worth the wait

Relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable of my health status. A very busy office (in a good sense), well organized and efficient. Front office staff is very friendly. Nearly everyone is multi-lingual. It is good medical delivery at its best.

I know there is usually a wait to see my doctor, however I'm totally satisfied with him and not see another doctor. His brother who is a pediatrician used to be my doctor when I was younger.

Doctor is knowledgeable, unfortunately, today's visit was a disaster. First., the reminder gave me the wrong time: 10:20 AM, when the actual visit was schedule for 11:00. Second, when the time came, the poor office girl let me know that every one was at least, one hour behind schedule. Something about shortage of space due to an ongoing construction in the premises.
overall, my impression was not favorable today. the patients needs were not the first priority today and my mother, sitting in her wheelchair, was not only uncomfortable but plain sick of the long and unexpected/completely useless waste of time.
as you can imagine, I was really disappointed with the quality of service today. I may change my review in the future, depending on the circumstances for the upcoming visit.

I love my doctor. He always takes the time to listen to all of my issues, and I never feel rushed. I always feel like I'm his only patient for the day. I also love that I can provide lab samples in the office instead of having to drive to a different facility. He also speaks Spanish!
