Dr. Goodwin is currently serving as a staff physician at the Lakewood Women’s Center. She provides excellent, comfortable care to her patients. Many of Dr. Goodwin’s annual gynecological exams and pap smears are completed in under an hour.

I waited about 10 minutes once I was there, but that wasn't a big deal and they offered water and had good magazines. Dr. Goodwin was the best though! She was kind and asked me about my thoughts and knowledge on certain things then confirmed or kindly educated me on what I was misinformed about. She was friendly, funny, but professional and her demeanor made me trust her and feel very comfortable in a normally uncomfortable situation.

Dr. Goodwin is the best! She takes time to explain things and answers questions. I also appreciated that she prefers to wait with vaginal deliveries and not rush to a c-section. I bet other doctors wouldn't have given me the chance to deliver vaginally with my son considering how long I had to push!

The appointment was pleasant and went well. We went over basic information. I had to bring my 4 year old and everyone was very nice to him and even gave him a coloring book. Julie was nice, a good listener and able to give good feedback on what to do with this upcoming pregnancy. Most likely to go back.

Loved the doctor, but not a fan of the wait time. My appointment was at 11:30am. I arrived around 11:20am, but didn't get to see the doctor until about 12:45pm. I left the doctor's office around 1:30pm. Normally, I would never return to a place that would make me wait this long with an appointment, but Dr. Goodwin was so nice and knowledgeable, that I do plan on returning. I hope the wait was just an unusual situation because I hope to make her my permanent doctor. She did apologize for the wait and admitted that her appointments were all running behind that day. So, I'm definitely coming back because everyone is allowed an off day.

Oh my GOSH! She was amazing! I mean really truly fantastic. They had actually left me a voicemail to move my appointment and when I got there she fit me in even though it was my fault for scheduling an office visit instead of a new patient. She is a mother! She is nice, funny and super friendly. I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor ever. I was having to leave the doctor that delivered my son that I loved because she moved. The office staff were friendly and there was hardly a wait. If you are searching for a doctor who is informative, friendly and just plain awesome..... this is her! I have found my doctor.

When I moved to Texas, it was not an easy task to find all new doctors, especially when it comes to finding an OB-GYN that you're comfortable with. So, when I met with Dr. Julie Goodwin I was so relieved to find someone that was extremely professional and made my visit so pleasant! Before the exam, she took the time to understand what my issues were and explained in detail what the causes may be. She is so knowledgable in her profession and I am proud to say that she is my new OB-GYN! I highly recommend her!

I was surprised at how welcoming and positive Dr. Julie Goodwin was when she entered the room and introduced herself with a firm handshake! She was not annoyed at my many questions, and also took the time out of her busy day to TEACH me how I can prevent my symptoms from getting worse, by avoiding certain foods (and she also took time to go into DETAIL about foods that I should avoid that might make my condition worse)!
She was also very concerned about me protecting myself from future preventable circumstances, something both of my primary care physicians never did voluntarily.
She is so much better than the handful of doctors that I have had experience with- you will be so happy that you chose to make an appointment with her!!
You could definately see that she is knowledgeable in her field and loves to serve and help her patients.
