Julia has a B.A. in psychology from SUNY Geneseo, where she became interested in development and biopsychology. Her lifelong passion for women’s issues drew her to school at Columbia University where she received a B.S. in nursing. While working as a nurse at Columbia’s Center for Women’s Reproductive Care, she completed an M.S. in nursing in women’s health. She later worked as a clinician at Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York, Weill Cornell Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, and NYU Health Kips Bay Gynecology.
Throughout her career she has focused on providing quality care for the whole woman, with a strong interest in gynecologic health education and infertility.
In her spare time she dances, travels the world, and volunteers for campaigns to advocate for women’s rights
