“The office is very nice, modern, but cozy. They have blood draw in office which is convenient. Dr. Feder was quick and gentle, but I didn’t see her until 25 mins after my appointment time because she was running late and not on-site at the time my appointment started. She did not seem to be too knowledgeable about PCOS/PMOS when I mentioned it to her, but maybe she didn’t ask too many questions since it was just an annual visit. She did note that she was surprised I was diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS given I have no ovarian cysts which is a dated understanding of the condition. Overall I would recommend for general OBGYN needs but not necessarily if you have a specific condition you want to manage/discuss.”

About Dr. Samantha Feder
Dr. Feder is an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with special interests in preconception counseling. Dr. Feder received her bachelor's degree in history from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year at King's College of the University of London studying history and English. She obtained her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996. While in medical school, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Feder received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, then a teaching hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating in 2000. As a resident, she was recognized for teaching excellence by Columbia's medical students. Also during residency, she was a Galloway Fellow at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. In 2002, she was appointed Assistant Clinical Professorof Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, a position she held until 2013. Dr. Feder is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Good experience, office and front desk staff were very nice and check-in process was smooth. I was sitting for ~30 mins before the MA took me in (also super nice). Dr. seemed to be in a rush but she definitely wanted to cover her bases quickly before running off to the next room. I'd still recommend this place and would hope that was just a one-time thing as I left feeling as though I didn't get a single word of my own out unless it was answering a question she had. It's fine since I had no serious issues/concerns and I understand time constraints happen in this field. Platform that is used for lab results is great.

My visit with Samantha Feder was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a gynecologist. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and thorough. I was able to discuss all of my concerns without feeling rushed, and she explained everything in detail with genuine care and compassion. Throughout the visit, I felt heard, comfortable, and reassured. It’s rare to find a physician who combines such extensive medical knowledge with exceptional communication and warmth. I highly recommend Samantha Feder and am so grateful to have found such a wonderful gynecologist.

I'm not even picky and rarely write reviews, but I really would not recommend this doctor. To start, I waited an hour in the waiting room after being early to my scheduled appointment. I understand things get busy, but I was there for a procedure that I was already anxious about and this situation really did not help. Once I was called back, they still seemed really disorganized. The nurse told me to undress and then I was left sitting in the room for at least another 30 minutes. Another nurse came in confused as to why I was waiting in there. Finally, the doctor came in and told me she misplaced my paperwork. Once she started asking me questions, she was very short with me. She spent the entire time pushing a vaccine one me that I did not come there to get. It wasn't that I didn't want the vaccine, but rather, that I was already nervous about the procedure I'd come for and didn't want to do both at once. I also wanted to check my medical history first and make sure I didn't already have the vaccine. She spent a long time arguing with me about getting it, and then telling me that she didn't think I should get the procedure done that I came there for. Her bedside manner was very poor. When it came to the actual procedure, she did a good / quick job, but I really would not recommend in terms of a comforting / understanding source for women's health.

Highly recommend Dr.Feder she is the best ! She listened to every concern that I had and gave me a solution. She’s the best gyn I’ve visited thus far ! Wait time wasn’t long and staff was very kind.

Dr. Feder delivered both of my children at Weill Cornell, and I am deeply grateful for her expertise, compassion, and personalized care. During my 1st delivery, after a long labor, my baby was not progressing. Dr. Feder calmly explained my options, sought a 2nd opinion, and recommended a vacuum-assisted delivery, helping me avoid a C-section and earning my lasting trust.
Three years later, her careful attention again proved critical when she identified low fluid, ordered addl testing, and recommended induction. When my baby’s heart rate showed signs of fatigue, she rushed back from the operating room to ensure a safe delivery. I delivered a healthy baby with minimal tearing.
Her thoughtful support with breastfeeding and pp mental health also made a meaningful difference in my recovery. Dr. Feder combines exceptional clinical judgment with genuine warmth and dedication. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her deliver both my children and recommend her without hesitation.
