My experience with Dr. Fischer was shockingly terrible. Our conversation lasted less than 10 minutes. She was aggressively condescending, acting impatient and annoyed as I answered her questions. When I was given a chance to speak, I asked a question about a potential diagnostic test related to something in my medical history. She stopped me mid-sentence, quickly got very close to me, and aggressively stated that my experience was somehow different from others who get the test. She also implied that my mental health (which is managed) was to blame, not anything physical, despite my prior need for surgery for this condition. I had no chance to ask any follow-up questions before she ran from the room, giving me no instruction or even an indication that I was finished--a confused nurse found me and had to clarify in order to help. The whole experience left me confused and upset, and I'm shocked at the borderline dangerous inadequacy of this provider's care. Avoid avoid avoid.

If bedside manner is important to you, go elsewhere. I couldn’t complete a sentence without being interrupted and spoken over. Didn’t feel like a safe space.

One of the strangest and worse experiences I've had at a doctor's office. I wish I read the other reviews in detail prior to booking.
I was shamed for multiple, normal requests, including wanting an STD test (did not receive) and wanting to see if I could get my implant changed. Very dismissive when trying to give my medical history and was generally treated as if I were a waste of time.
I do not mind people who are to the point, and I understand that multiple appointments back to back can leave doctors feeling rushed. However, Dr. Ficher's complete lack of bedside manner is directly leading to sub-standard care, bordering on negligence. I had concerns that were not addressed that will now cause me to book an appointment elsewhere and pay more out of pocket.

It took a long time to get into the building after ringing the bell for the office. Sometime exiting allowed me in. Then the front desk was unstaffed for a while. It was probably a total of 10 minutes before I was let into the building and saw someone at the front desk.
The worker who took me to the treatment room was not friendly and seemed miserable and annoyed to be there.
The saving grace was Dr. Fischer and the nurse who drew my blood, both of whom were very thorough and pleasant.

The front desk staff is not particularly friendly and they didn’t acknowledge me even though I was standing there and the two staff members saw me there and weren’t busy. A “hi, I will be right with you” would have been nice. However, I absolutely love Dr. Fischer and that’s why I keep coming back. She is knowledgeable, explains things well, friendly and takes her time with you. Definitely recommend!

The doctor was super nice, was very thorough and provided great answers and advice. The front desk was very particular about getting credit card, while I prefer cash. They said I can't see the doctor again, as I didn't provide the card on file - I've checked and it's my right to do so and not a reason for service rejection.

I would recommend this office if you want fast, clear and diligent service! I have a particular fear and felt very safe because of the objective mindset.
I would say that if you are a relaxed person and not well accustomed to a high pace environment, then maybe this doctor isn’t your cup of tea. It works well with me and my preferred environment.
She was very focused and that shouldn’t be mistaken with “not caring for her patients”. Sometimes people work at a different pace than others and she is a quick one who knows how to approach the situation at hand.
Please make sure you come in with all your historical information and your current concerns! It’ll drastically help communicate effectively between you and the medical team!

I typically don’t write reviews, but my experience here was truly surprising. I went in for a consultation, just wanting a professional opinion on my health. The front desk handed me a pee cup in front of the whole waiting room and loudly told me where to go to leave it. I was embarrassed and confused. Then, after waiting for the elevator with my neon orange cup, I was called by a nurse who loudly said I shouldn’t pee until after I spoke with the doctor. I was left so puzzled by the whole process. The nurse was so rude and told me to undress and again I was shocked because I was there only to talk, nothing else. I voice this and the nurse goes "oh". And then just leaves???? I actually thought I was being pranked I had no idea what was going on. Then the doctor came in and was so rude. This was the worst run doctor's office ever, no one had any idea why I was there, the communication was awful and I genuinely did not feel safe. Do not go here.

Dr. Fischer’s bedside manner is not good. She’s blunt and condescending, and makes you feel that you’re wasting her time by being there. She seemed impatient and I did not feel I was thoroughly examined.
She opened the door (which opens directly to the patient waiting area) to get gloves while I was undressed with no curtain. She then shouted at one of her staff members while I was in the clinic room.
This was an unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

Bullied into a cancer screening test for an undisclosed amount of money. The nurse finished my bloodwork for the STD panel and then another nurse very dramatically entered the room—without knocking—making the first nurse aware she forgot to draw blood for the cancer screener. Super awkward. So she draws blood from my other arm and I ask the second nurse about the Patient Assistance Program, which she promptly dismisses. A few days later I get what is very clearly labeled as a Blood Collection Kit delivered to my home, with zero explanation. The doctor was fine if a bit crass, but the organization of this place is enough to never come back—and I work next door. Heed my warning!!!!!

Dr. Fischer and her office are really amazing. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I hadn’t been for a visit in a while and was looking for a new doctor. I was really nervous and Dr. Fischer was great. She was very easy to talk to. She gave very helpful
information and suggestions for my care going forward. During the entire exam, she made me feel at ease and explained as she was going. I feel very relieved to have found a gynecologist that I feel like can both advise on my healthcare and can trust. VERY highly recommend.

Dr. Fischer is amazing! She spent a lot of time with me and heard my medical history and concerns. The front office staff however are incredibly unhelpful and rude. They clearly do not want to be client / customer service. Dr. Fischer would benefit from new front office support as would her patients. Going to the doctor is hard enough without a disrespectful experience.

My appointment was late in the day and it was clear that the goal was to get me in and out as quickly as possible—including when it came to performing a pap smear and pelvic exam. Both were painful and rushed, which has not been the case when I have had the same procedures performed by other providers. I later realized that I was even bleeding from the insertion of the speculum, which, again, has never happened to me before when receiving a pap smear. I will not be returning to this office.
