I don’t normally write reviews but I just wanted to share that I met with Julie (Virtual Visit) yesterday. This was my first appointment with her and she was honestly FANTASTIC. Julie was thorough, she was honest, a great listener, paraphrased to make sure she understood what I was saying correctly, etc, etc, etc. highly recommend!!!!!!!!

I hold a Master's degree in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Adelphi University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to care.

Please do not use this provider. My first appointment she took twenty minutes to join the zoom. She also did not make me feel very comfortable to share. While on the zoom, we booked a second appointment for a month later. Comes that day, the office has no recollection of it and she isn’t even working. Horrible horrible horrible service and honestly abhorrent treatment of people with mental health issues.

Every month there's an issue with this office - the clerks are literally uneducated- rude and make things very challenging for people struggling with their mental health !!

I first person I booked with never contacted me I had to find someone else. I was clear that I needed someone who is licensed to dispense medication along with therapy but I kept getting just a medication manager. Finally I connected with someone and again she only does one thing not both.

The appointment I made wasn’t honored because the office “doesn’t accept appointments” through Zocdoc. I was told about while I called the office during my scheduled appointment time after accommodating my work schedule. They offered me another one the following week once I completed more forms and provided them with my credit card. Be mindful of this!

While the provider herself was nice, there has been a significant delay in obtaining authorization for my medication. It has never taken this long for an office to complete the PA for this specific med. I’m going through withdrawals from said medication and will have side effects as my body readjusts to it if Im ever able to restart it. There’s really no excuse for a psychiatry practice to be so delayed in obtaining coverage, given the nature of the field
and the potentially grave consequences from missing doses. I would absolutely not recommend this practice because if you can’t get your medication’s, what is the point. ?
