it would be nice to have a little more easy access to the office via phone. And pre-warning about things to do before the appointment so I could have been a little more prepared. Otherwise, she was great, timely, professional and informative.

She took the time to get my history and was very personable. This was my first visit but so far I am very impressed!

Dr. Wendt earned Bachelor of Science degrees in biochemistry and biology honors from the University of Illinois, a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Vanderbilt University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. She completed residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, both in Chicago.
In private practice since 2005, Dr. Wendt has published a great deal of research. She has received the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award, a Patient’s Choice Award and is noted as one of America’s Top Physicians. Dr. Wendt is Vice President of the Arizona Allergy and Asthma Society.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Wendt is married to a Nebraskan. They have seven children, ages 7 to 22. She enjoys fencing, boating, water skiing, scuba diving and travel. She’s also taken courses in grape growing and winemaking. In her free time, Dr. Wendt enjoys serving with multiple charitable organizations including Global Orphan Project and Family Promise.

Dr. Wendt has an amazing bedside manner. She explained everything in an easy to understand manner. She made my son totally comfortable with the procedures and treated him like her own. I would very much recommend her.

I love this office. The staff is friendly and efficient. You are never rushed and your concerns, questions, needs are always addressed quickly. Dr. Wendt is one of the kindest, most professional doctors I have ever met. This practice is a gem in the desert!

As usual I always get a warm, friendly reception from the office manager. She is so attentive while I get my shots, and just very genuine and sincere as are both Joy who gives the shots and Dr. Wendt who's absolutely the most positive & caring doctor I have ever had. I always have a great visit here. What a positive atmosphere here.

Dr. Wendt has always taken the time to sit down with me to completely explain any medications she prescribes for my asthma and allergies. She is extremely empathetic as she actively listens to my allergy and asthma symptoms, and provides practical treatment. Her follow up care is thorough and compassionate. Best allergy doctor in the North Scottsdale area.
