Dr. Justine Hung attended the University of California San Diego where she received her bachelor of science degree in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. Returning to her hometown, she continued her education at the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Hung completed her education with internships at Lakeline Vision Source in Austin and at Audie L. Murphy Veterans Affairs hospital in San Antonio. She is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and is a participating member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association as well as the Central Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Hung believes in comprehensive ocular examinations and providing quality primary vision care. She also enjoys fitting a variety of single and multi-focal contact lenses and manages ocular diseases including dry eye, glaucoma, removing foreign bodies, and treating eye infections. Aside from her professional interests, Dr. Hung enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, scrap-booking, or playing with her silly dog Ziggy..

Doctor Hung was thorough, honest and efficient. I was in and out very quickly. It should be noted that while you get your eye exam done at Arboretum Eye Pros, if you intend to purchase frames, you need to go to the LensCrafters next door. While AEP accepted my insurance, Lenscrafters was not in my network, and I will be taking my script elsewhere to be filled.
