I go to a lot of doctors and many times I go to a new one hoping they could be a longer term provider and they end up being a little meh and I am left wondering if there might be someone better I could see. With Dr. Seitz though, I knew right away that I liked her. She is very down to earth and easy to talk to and happy to talk through any questions you have. It is a Mount Sinai facility and she is a provider with them. The building and office were very clean and there was plenty of parking available. The front desk staff as well as nurses and assistants were all very nice. If there is a little wait for an appointment with her, it's worth it! Even if you have to see someone else sooner, I still highly recommend her as a primary pulmonologist.

Verified patient
Would highly recommend this pulmonologist (Dr. Seitz) and office. Office confirmed appointment one day prior to visit via text. Office was clean, checking in was seamless and there was a 2 minute wait. Doctor listened to all my concerns and she proceeded accordingly with a diagnosis and treatment plan. Downstairs is a radiologist if an x-ray is needed - very convenient.

When you need an extremely knowledgeable, caring, and committed pulmonologist, I 1000% recommend Dr. Kaitlin Seitz. She is an awesome doctor! She very thoroughly listened to my concerns and symptoms, explained in detail the what and why of what I was going through, and even what I should expect in the future. Dr. Seitz even went over the details in the radiologist report with me line by line, explaining what some of the technical "troublesome" wording meant in reality. I did not feel rushed at any point, and was seen in a very timely fashion. Complimentary valet parking, nice clean office, friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Dr. Seitz was cordial and receptive to my questions and concerns. She has excellent bedside manners and would recommend her to anyone.

I took my partner to her office last minute and she had an available slot open. We got there due to how bad his breathing had become and she made sure he had 2 PFTs completed for accuracy. She also listened to his entire experience and took his symptoms seriously. Dr. Seitz shared her concern and carefully gave us our options in terms of the testing needed to rule things out and our time expectancy on the tests. Dr. Seitz urged us to visit the emergency room, whilst she still initiated tests that would take some time to return. We eventually went to the E.R and turns out he had a potentially fatal blood clot in the saddle of his lungs. A pulmonary embolism that was guaranteed to be fatal if treatment was not sought out. My partner was in ICU for 3 days and then observed for 3 more days. All while Dr. Seitz still kept in contact with us. She saved his life and I am so thankful we had her as his doctor.

Thank you, Dr. Seitz and the Long Island Mount Sinai staff, for the outstanding care!

Pulmonologist # 4 lol so hard to find a good one that’s not super far away. My old one was an hour drive each way to give you an idea. But she is willing to try different treatments which my prior doctors refused to do and she actually listened to my symptoms. Also appreciate she wore a mask since COVID is the reason all my lung symptoms started.

I have been avoiding a pulmonologist because of my experience with feeling shamed in other settings. Ended up here on a Monday after an emergency urgent care visit and a scary weekend of breathing issues. Dr. Seitz was easy going, non-judgemental, patient, empathetic, and communicative. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and created plenty of space for me to process and make a plan. I feel very lucky that she had an appointment!
