What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I am passionate about providing holistic care to patients across the lifespan. I take pride in my ability to diagnose, prescribe, and manage their symptoms through effective listening and communication. As a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chamberlain University, I set the precedence to ensure my patients receive quality care based on evidence-based practices.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
The role is to gather past and current medical history, family history, perform assessments, manage symptoms, and provide effective listening and communication. It also includes diagnosis, medication management, and follow-ups to support both physical and behavioral health needs.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I love to go swimming. I also enjoy reading a good book while taking time for relaxation and self-care.
