I believe that every body has the potential for growth and change. As a dual-licensed Somatic Family Therapist with a Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling from Appalachian State University, I bring 18 years of experience assisting individuals, couples, and families in finding long-term healing and change. My clients most often seek something different than traditional talk therapy. They struggle with issues related to trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression that negatively impact their relationship with themselves and those they love. I hold advanced training in supporting women and their families who have experienced trauma, grief, and loss in the perinatal period.
First and foremost, I strive to create a sense of safety and connection with my clients. I do this by bringing my humanness to each session. While I hold a lot of expertise and knowledge about the human experience, I want my clients to feel empowered and engaged. Clients describe me as fiercely compassionate, intuitive, relatable, non-judgmental, and curious.
