Karalyn Dennis, FNP-BC, AAHIVS, is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in LGBTQIA+ affirming and harm reduction based primary care, sexual health, gender affirming care, PrEP, and treatment for HIV, hepatitis c, and opioid use disorder.
Karalyn's goal is to partner with patients to support their health in ways that are achievable and successful for them. She is passionate about providing care that prevents health problems as well as working with people to manage existing conditions. Karalyn decided to become a medical provider after experiencing a close friend undergo treatment for a severe chronic health condition. Witnessing how he managed his chronic illness while still living a fulfilling life inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others do the same.
While Karalyn is not treating her patients, she loves spending time with her cats, playing recreational roller derby, knitting and crocheting, taking care of her plants, listening to audiobooks, hanging out in her hammock, and watching drag performances.
