This was a first time appt. The wait time was reasonable - not long at all. Dr. Delhey seemed genuinely interested in my case, asked plenty of questions, allowed me to express my questions and concerns and she explained things as our conversation went on. Front office and nursing staff were professional, attentive and friendly. -sr

Karen Delhey was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan where her father was a noted District Attorney. She attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for both undergraduate and medical school, and received her M.D. degree in 1986. Following medical school she relocated to Houston where she did her surgery and urology residencies at University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. She completed her residency in 1992.
After residency Dr. Delhey began practicing general urology in The Texas Medical Center and has continued her practice there for the past 17 years. She is board certified in urology and one of the few females in the field of urology in the Houston area. Dr. Delhey specializes in overactive bladder (OAB), interstitial cystitis, and other female urologic problems, while also treating all other areas of general urology. She has spoken on OAB to groups of all sizes in Houston and throughout Texas.
Dr. Delhey is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has served on numerous hospital committees. She currently serves as Chief of the Urology Section at Park Plaza Hospital and as a member of the Interstitial Cystitis Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Delhey has been married for 15 years to a Houston fireman. They have two children.

Do not waste your time filling out online forms with zocdoc because the office does not recognize, nor use them and when I told the receptionist I was most upset about having to fill them out again she said she had no idea why they were on zocdoc. Their office has never used zocdoc.

Doctor is really great. Front office girls are ok, but still needed to fill in all redundant forms, asking for my name 5x, my SSN. 7x, Some forms even had it 2x. On the same sheet.
This is after I've filled it all out on zocdoc.
When I asked about this, I was told that this info was specifically for the internal office.
When I suggested they just print out the screen from zoc doc, they got a little pissu, so I just let it go, and filled in forms that asked for the exact same data.
Either way, dr was awesome

I actually found Dr. Delhey online, this was my first appointment with her, so I did not know what to expect. I was so happy when she walked in with a smile and started talking because she was very friendly, patient, attentive, and thorough. She asked several questions and showed that she was all about my well-being and the accuracy of the diagnosis. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I left there feeling that was an extremely satisfying doctor's visit. Every since, I have been telling everyone what a wonderful doctor she is and how great my experience was.
