I am a Psychiatrist with many years of experience treating patients with a wide variety of conditions through medication and/or psychotherapy. I am especially interested in helping people with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I completed my Doctor of Medicine at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and my Psychiatry residency at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital Center. This practice is entirely online.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Listening and understanding a patient’s perspective on their needs and goals is the first and most important step. We can then establish the best solutions whether that includes medication, therapy or both.

Dr. Alleyne was kind and understood the treatment I needed, but I tried to call her office and email as a follow-up for next steps as I wanted to know when I’d receive a prescription last week, and I still haven’t gotten a response. Because of this, I will be looking elsewhere.

I was surprised at how poorly the doctor's device was used on camera. Most times the camera was not steady and the doctor's face was not in full view. The doctor was not 100% available to me. The doctor was traveling, and we experienced connection issues as well as the call dropping a couple of times. The doctor was in a public place and ordered food during my appointment. I would not recommend the doctor for this reason.
