I have been going to Dr. Kat at Eye Society for a few years now. She is my favorite optometrist in Houston. She is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The staff there is also great. My appointments have always been right on time. I highly recommend Dr. Kat and Eye Society!

The technician was condescending about the tests and made me feel like I was stupid for not understanding it right away.
They use an optos, but to get more photos out of it costs more. I will be looking for a different optometrist.

I am very picky when it comes to my optometrist, and the doctor ticked off all my boxes. Obsessed with the office layout, very clean, the wait time was quick, the staff was all very friendly, and of course the cutest bulldog. I will definitely be going here again for anything involving optometry, do yourself a favor and go.

The doctor kept pushing me to purchase a screening exam that wasn’t covered by insurance. She mentioned it about 4 times after I declined. Then she added a contact exam and eye drops to my total when all I wanted was my glasses prescription. She continuously pushed to get more money out of me! I’ll never go back to that office. It was a very uncomfortable experience!

Dr Nguyen was friendly and professional. I enjoyed the care she provided and appreciated her taking time to explain things to me in a clear and concise manner. Cassidy her assistant was also friendly and I enjoyed her taking care of me.

There was no wait, which was great, but it felt like a very rushed experience. In the pre exam the assistant walked so fast to each room I couldn’t even keep up. In the exam room, the doctor talked very fast and rushed through the exam. No transparency on frame pricing so I passed.

I read that Dr. Nguyen had a high return to office rate and now I see why! I walked in and was greeted immediately by the friendly staff and an even friendlier dog! The appointment was incredibly thorough but quick. I have a follow up appointment next week to make sure I like my contacts and that they’re comfortable. It is good to know that she values my time and my comfort.
