About Dr. Kim To
A lifelong Houstonian, Dr. Kim To attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate studies, where she received a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, before going on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry, with honors, from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2005. During her optometric studies, Dr. To completed clinical rotations at the Veterans' Administration Hospitals in both Quantico, Virginia, and San Antonio, Texas, where she received supplemental training in the diagnosis and treatment of diverse medical conditions of the eye. Dr. To has been with Memorial Eye Center since 2006 and is well known for her thoughtful and compassionate approach to patient care. An aspiring ?foodie,? she enjoys not only the consumption but also the study and preparation of a variety of foods. She is an avid traveler, with a particular fondness for Melbourne, Australia, and loves attending festivals with her husband, daughter, son, and dog Rusty. Dr. To is an enthusiastic advocate for Literacy Volunteers of America and has spent many years teaching English as a second language. She is available for English, Spanish, and Vietnamese language exams.

The lady at the front desk was so sweet and very accommodating. Forgot her name but she was so patient with me trying on several pairs of eyewear before picking the last frame that I find so cute and adorable though a little bit pricey. Dr Kim was so nice and very thorough with my eye exams. 2 scans were performed by their tech lady on my eyes. It was my first visit with Memorial Eye Center and I’m very satisfied with the service I got from Dr Kim and the front desk lady. Their location is so nice and neat with extensive display of eyepieces. I can’t wait to get my new eyeglasses from them soon.

Dr. To was very sweet and nice. I liked her. The guy doing the work prior to talking to the Dr. was real nice and friendly too.
And the lady at the counter taking payments and assisting with the check in/out was very helpful. She also helped me pick out my glasses, i feel she gave me honest advice if they looked good or not lol
