**We would appreciate all patients fill out forms prior to Dr appt--please remember to check your insurance for preferred provider status**Dr. Oldread is a native of Westford, Massachusetts. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Smith College, she served for three years in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. Earning her MD from Harvard Medical School, Katie completed her pediatrics residency at OHSU, and a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, before returning to Portland to practice general pediatrics.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Oldread loves to travel, bike and hike in her free time – but mostly she enjoys just being silly with her two daughters and son.

We followed Dr. Oldread from a different practice to Sellwood Medical because she is an excellent pediatrician. We have a 10 year old with special needs and a 16 year old, and she is great with both kids. Highly recommend.

Dr. Oldread is an amazing doctor. She has a wonderful bedside manner, my children really feel comfortable talking with her. She is able to explain things to my children in a way they can understand, without making them anxious. We are so happy to have her as their doctor.

Dr. Oldread is amazing she is great with our children! She is soft spoken and calm with our 18 month old, who is extremely shy; but funny and peppy with our son, who is a ball of energy. Basically she does a fantastic job making our children comfortable at the doctor’s office. The nurses and receptionists are amazing too!

Dr. Katie was great! My daughter does not like strangers, but warmed to her very quickly. The doc was very helpful in figuring out the vaccinations my girl needs for school - a big plus since we are doing a delayed schedule.
