My only issue was with the physician I saw. I would consider going back if I could be seen by the other doctor. The rest of the staff over the phone and in office were fantastic!
Dr Masterfield did not listen to my issues. I had pain on both sides, but it was much more severe on my right. He insisted on only treating the left side and did not examine the pain point. When he gave me the referral for a physical therapist, he told me I have to find one myself with no recommendations. I've never met an orthopedic dr that doesn't have PTs they prefer to work with.
I tried to advocate for myself that I really want both sides examined and treated, but I was told it was likely a compensation injury and not to worry. I left demoralized and was in so much pain on my right side that I had to call the office and make a second appointment for the treatment I could have just had in office the day before. Once back in office, he did a more thorough exam with explanations and exercises.
