Dr. Keith S. Leventhal graduated from Nova-Southeastern University Medical School in South Florida in 1995. Prior to graduate school he received a bachelor’s of science degree from the State University at Albany in the field of biology receiving Cum Laude honors.
After four years in Florida, Dr. Leventhal returned home to his New York roots. Dr. Leventhal has been an attending physician in the field of family practice since 1998.
He has successfully started two practices along with his partner of many years, Dr. Scott Brown. Dr. Leventhal is board certified in family practice and additionally serves as a medical attending at The Bristol Assisted Living Facility in East Meadow. Dr. Leventhal hopes to provide quality care in a comfortable patient setting.

My first visit with Dr. Leventhal went very well. He listened to me and did not rush me, asked a lot of questions, addressed all my concerns (and then some). He has great bedside manner, and I am very happy we found him to be our new PCP (for both my husband and I) now that we live in Long Island. The staff was kind, patient and professional, the office was clean, almost empty, and they were taking all the COVID-19 precautions. I did not have to wait, besides filing out the initial paperwork as a new patient, everything was done fast (vitals and family history) and my appointment was on time. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

Dr. Leventhal was great. He was kind, understanding, great bedside manner, and compassionate. The wait was not terrible and he definitely took the time to be with me. Now, the front desk is a different story. I’d say not the most infection control aware, Covid conscious staff. It was concerning. But the doctor and the woman who took my vitals before were quite delightful so I’ll be coming back.

The visit was very good. The office staff was great and courteous. I waited a total of 1 minute after filling out the paperwork to be brought back to the exam room. Once there, the staff was also very good. Dr. Leventhal came in almost immediately after the weight/blood pressure/other questions were complete. Dr Leventhal was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this doctors office.
