“The Couples Therapy and Family Therapy approaches have shown by research to be the most effective treatment for a whole host of problems. Even for problems like depression, that seem to be localized within a single individual.
The effectiveness of couple and family therapy stems from the fact that it focuses on changing aspects of our family and couple relationships that are triggering and/or reinforcing the problems we bring to therapy.”

Dr. Flynn was very helpful the two times I actually saw her. I had difficulty scheduling appointments with her. For my first appointment the time and date were changed on me. When I rescheduled, I was waiting in the waiting room for 40 minutes past my scheduled time. It was on a Saturday, so I had the extra time and wasn't all that irritated with waiting. My second appointment only started about 10-15 minutes past the scheduled time. When I confirmed my third appointment, Dr. Flynn told me she could only see me an hour earlier. This was confusing to me, because I verbally confirmed our next meeting time during the session prior. I was told this information during the work day when I had already made arrangements at work to alter my schedule. We rescheduled for the following evening where I again, made arrangements at work to alter my schedule. When I showed up to the appointment I was left waiting for 30 minutes. At this point, despite having great sessions when we were actually able to meet, I was fed up with trying to schedule something with her.
