Physician Assistant Kelsey Bodell earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. Prior to dermatology, Kelsey worked as a physician assistant in neurology. Although she is grateful for the experience gained in neurology, dermatology remained a passion of hers throughout both her training and career. “I feel privileged to serve my patients by treating both their acute and preventative skin concerns during each visit,” says Kelsey. “It is rewarding to witness the significant improvements in their quality of life, both physical and emotional, once their skin condition is appropriately treated.” Kelsey's desire is for her patients to leave her office feeling informed and satisfied with their care plan. “Educating my patients about their skin and how it relates to their overall health is very important to me.” Kelsey is excited about the opportunity to serve the Forney community and surrounding areas. Kelsey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. An East Texas native, she and her husband enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their Australian Shepherd, Ava. She also loves cycling and creating new recipes.
