She makes you feel very comfortable. And actually asks if you are okay with students being in the room with you during the exam. A lot of doctors don't give you the choice. She is friendly and upbeat, without being annoying or sugar coating things. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Kerri S. Parks has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology at
Verdugo Hills Medical center, Huntington Memorial Hospital, and
Glendale Adventist Medical Center since 2000. Her Undergraduate
degree is in French and Chemistry from the University of Alabama. She also completed her Medical School there and then moved to Los Angeles for the residency program at Los Angeles County-USC/Keck School of Medicine Women's and Children's Hospital during the hospital's busiest years.
She has specific interests in Adolescent Medicine, post-menopausal
complaints and hormone replacement therapy. She is comfortable
prescribing bioidentical hormones, as well as more traditinal medicatons. For those women who are not good candidates for HRT, Dr. Parks is educated on many natural therapies for menapausal symptoms. She practices High Risk Obstetrics and has delivered many multifetal
pregnancies. She strongly supports breastfeeding and enjoys guiding
new mother's through the initial post-partum period.
Dr. Parks has published literature about sexually transmitted diseases, hormone replacement therapy, and post-partum depression. She is the co-creator of "Mommy Meditations", a new mother's guide to post partum depression and works with and refers to therapists and psychiatrists with subspecialties in the field.
Dr. Parks enjoys collaborating with alternative medicine physicians and has referrals for accupuncturists, chiropractors, pregnancy massage therapists, doulas, and midwives. She is an advocate for natural childbirth. Although she does not specifically "back-up" home deliveries, she is open to being a partner in pre-natal care and is supportive of most decisions that a woman makes regarding her delivery. Most importantly, though, she is open to all patient requests. Elective Cesareans are OK, too!
As a mother of four young children, most of her free time is spent helping with homework and attending little league games, but she also is interested in reading, writing, and live music. She has lived in South Pasadena since 1998.

Dr. Parks is AWESOME! Her staff (especially Terry and Ashley) are very kind and helpful. Dr. Parks saw me through my first pregnancy and delivered my daughter this summer. She always put my health first and answered all of my questions/concerns. Their office is clean and welcoming. They have short wait times and are very flexible.I went her after a recommendation from a friend and have recommended others as well. *BTW, if you need an AWESOME pediatrician, see Dr. James Henry with Glendale Pediatrics (the office is packed but he is great with new parents).

I love Dr. Parks wouldn't go anywhere else. I've been a patient of hers for about 10 years I think. She is amazing, very comfortable talking with her.Always has a smile on her face.

It was adequate. I was greeted in a friendly prompt way. All admin work was done efficiently. My actual exam was not as thorough as I'm used to. Dr. Parks has a lovley personality easy to talk to, but lacked the level of professionalism that would have given her a 5 star rateing.
