Great doctor. Felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone (that includes first timers)!
I was looking for a gyno in the San Fernando valley and Dr. Torbati was amazing. So kind, respectful, compassionate and has a wonderful sense of humor. Would recommend him to anyone!
He knows his job very well ..I trust him so much .. He is also so kind and gentle .
I really liked Dr. Torbati. He took the time to sit down and talk to me before my exam. He was very considerate of any and all questions and concerns that I had. It was a little bit of a wait but it wasn't bad. All of the nurses were really nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
Dr. Torbati seems great with pregnancy issues but if you need a doctor for any other issues I would go elsewhere.
He is one of the best doctors in town! Highly recommended! Thank you Dr. Torbat . And special thanks to Nahid who helps with everything from A to Z , you guys are amazing .
He was very personable, great bedside manner, and informative!
The doctor was great and the front desk was nice but I was annoyed with my long wait. The doctor made up for it - he was great, thorough and quick. My only complaint is that I was there 15 minutes early. I noticed on my way in the parking garage doesn't take card - ugh - I would have to find an ATM. So I waited for 15 minutes, they took me in to weigh me and sent me back out to wait. Seriously? I don't understand why they took me in and sent me back out to wait another 35 minutes. It was 5:40 by the time I got in. My appointment was for 5 and I left work early to be there at 4:45. It was only after I went up to the front to ask if they validated parking that they took me in instantly after. I'm sure they could tell I was annoyed. They said no, they didn't. I then asked if there was a nearby ATM and the front desk didn't know. Not very helpful. I just made a comment like "well, parking is going to be expensive now that I've waited 40 minutes. I guess I'll figure it out." I tried not to be rude but was super annoyed. Turns out, you can pay for parking in a store in the building. That would have been a nice detail for the office people to know! I wouldn't have been nearly as annoyed. Of course, they charged you more but it was my only option since I don't carry cash. (Ok, maybe my fault). Otherwise, everything was great. They faxed my prescription directly to my pharmacy.
Treated me different when he found out some of my medical history. Never even called me back with the results of my pap even after I called the office for the results.
Very knowledgeable, meticulous, and compassionate. He is very passionate about helping his patients and got to the bottom of my problem right away. I would recommend him to anyone!
This was the worst experience I've ever had. I went into this Drs office after thoroughly researching for a great doctor in my area. I decided to go with Dr. Kamran because his reviews were outstanding. Boy was I wrong! I started to get the feeling that this doctor may only care for his patients that are delivering babies. I'll tell you why I got this impression. I scheduled my appointment for an annual pap smear/gyn exam. This was my very first time visiting this doctor. Before coming in for my appointment, the front desk call be several times in the days prior to "confirm" my insurance. Once I got there, they acted as if they never called me prior to me standing in front of them. Anyway, moving into the actual "exam". The doctor came in, never looked me in the face when he "introduced" himself. Gave me a quick breast exam and paps smear, asked me what type of birth control I was on and was headed out the door. I had a list of questions to ask him due to my prior history (which was mentioned on the sheet, that he never acknowledged). So, I stopped him and asked if I could ask him a few questions regarding my health. He looked so annoyed at the fact that I had the nerve to ask him a question. Everything I asked he followed up with your birth control with take care of that. Now what I asked, had nothing to do with birth control. Then he said if you are trying to get pregnant, then we will have to talk about something different. I told him that I was, in fact, trying to get pregnant. He still attempted to prescribe me birth control until the next. I had to ask him to do the annual std check. So, he gave me a document (no one explained the next step. I had to ask where do I go to get the blood work drawn). At this point, I made up in my mind that I did not want him as a doctor if he gets frustrated at someone for asking a question. So, I decided to get a prescription for now and find a different doctor for my actual need. Getting a prescription wasn't so simple either. He made me call my last doctor to get the name of the BC, which took awhile. Plus I had to find out which Pharmacy it was with. Why did his matter, I have no idea. so, I stepped out of the office, so I wouldn't interupt the other patients with my conversation. When I came back to give the girl at the front desk the information the DR. requested, they looked at me as if they had no idea what I was talking about. I told them the doctor asked me to get this information in order to get a prescription for BC. They had the nerve to say okay, take a seat he's with a patient. So, I asked "are you saying I have to wait until he's done with another exam in order to get a prescription"? She said, "yes". I walked out and said "don't worry about it. have a good day". Needless to say, I received a call a few days later from another woman from the office, saying she saw me in the office and noticed I was upset when I left and wanted to apologize. I explained the situation to her and she said the reason he mat not have want to answer any questions is because my appointment should have only been for a pap smear. I told her that I scheduled the appointment for a pap/gyn exam, which is verified by the paperwork I signed at the office. She said well normally we just do a pap. I explained to her that if that was the case, someone from the office called me numerous times before I came in. They could have cleared that up in one of those calls OR the Dr himself, could have simply explained the process at the time of exam. A simple "we'll go into details with your questions on your follow up", would have sufficed. She agreed, but stilled continued to make excuses for the Dr. then followed up with we want to make it up to you. The doctor called me to supposedly give me an update on my results, but when I talked to him he still had an attitude when I asked a clarifying question to what he was telling me. He's just not a people's person. I decided to go back in just to get the BC prescription and the results of the tests that I took (I know, no news is good news). But there was a specific test, outside of the regular std tests, that I wanted the results to. When I got to the office, I was again faced with no one knowing what is going on. I advised that I was coming in for my results and prescription. They said they had to wait for the Dr to get the prescription and results which would have taken some time for him to get to me, although I had an appointment. I asked if they can just send the prescription to walmart, they said yes but I needed to look up the specifics of the store (something they could have just googled) and they said the Dr. can call me with the results. I said fine. The doctor never called and that was 2 months ago.
he is great

Makes the typically awkward yearly doctors visit, comfortable and effortless. Was absolutely comfortable, and felt the doctor spent a good amount of time addressing all my questions. Very nice staff, and easy appointment. Highly recommend.

Dr. Torbati was very professional and knowledge. He made me feel very comfortable when I needed a doctor right away and I couldn't reach my regular OBGYN. His office staff is extremely sweet and make you feel right at home, like you are a part of the family. His office is filled with beautiful pictures and personal notes from the babies he's delivered. I would highly recommend Dr. Torbati for any woman looking for a gentle experience.
After years of searching I think I found the right doctor. Dr. Torbati made me feel comfortable, took his time to answer all the questions I had. Extremely knowledgeable and caring. He kept apologizing for making me wait almost half hour due to prior patients. The wait was worth it. His staff are very friendly as well.
Excellent Doctor...He and his staff were very welcoming! As this will be my 1st child, he opened the floor for me to ask as many questions as I wanted & he provided to me very important information regarding my pregnancy. If you are looking for a professional Doctor who cares about you & your child, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Torbati!
Dr. Torbati and his staff are wonderful - they made me feel welcome. They are polite, professional and care about you as a patient.
As a new patient, I was immediately impressed by Dr Torbati's office set up, professional staff and his intake process. He's extremely personable and I believe a perfect fit for my first pregnancy.
The ladies who checked me in weren't very welcoming but maybe they were busy. Dr. Torbati was very nice. He made me feel comfortable, especially during the exam. If you're considering him, go for it!
I loved everything about Dr. Kamran Torbati. I scheduled my consultation with him & have officially chosen him as my doctor. I was able to get a same day appointment. The office was clean & nice. The only complaint I have is the ladies behind the desk were rude. When I entered the office to check in, I was not greeted, they never looked up at not did they ever acknowledge me. Other than them it was a great experience.
I felt very welcomed. Staff was very courteous and accommodating.
Highly recommended!!! In every aspect. Great doctor.

The best Dr. I've ever had. So sweet, informative, caring and helpful! I unfortunately had to move so he couldn't be my Dr. anymore but I highly recommend he becomes yours. Thank you Dr. Torbati for all you have done...
He was very professional and understanding. The best thing that he performed and ordered all important tests on the same visit which saved me a lot of time.
Very friendly and helpful.
