Dr Atkins is patient and professional. However his front desk staff made some mistake in my contact prescription so I have to wait for another week or so to get new pairs. Other than that people there are very nice and friendly.

I received my Doctor of Optometry degree from Berkeley, California in 1986. After 10 years of working for Corporations, I opened my private practice in Kirkland in 1996.
I’ve been living in Mukilteo (where???) since 1992, love bright clothes (especially Hawaiian shirts and Crocs) and traveling. For some odd reason, I am, still, and remain, an avid Mariner and Seahawk fan. I am also into gardening,freshwater tropical fish (member of the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society) and have four adorable cats (Mojo, Max, Muffin and Ringo). What more do you need to know?

I booked this appointment simply for their great reviews and expected the normal optometrist office. Well this is not that. Instantly their fun design of the office and the outgoing fun and friendly staff made me feel very comfortable right away. The doctor not only did a very thorough exam but explained what was going on every step of the way. When it came time to pick out frames the staff did everything they could to get me the best deal and all the info I needed. I actually look forward to going back!!

Dr. Kerry Atkins and his staffs are very professional and cheerful. He is very professional and gave me many solutions to help with my very-dried dry eye symptom. He is a listener, and a good educator, too. If you are afraid of seeing an eye doctor like me, Dr. Atkins is your choice.

Everything was great! I even got in a few minutes early. Dr. Atkins was friendly, knowledgable, and explained everything thoroughly. His staff helped me find the perfect pair of glasses that fit in my budget.

Dr. Atkins did a through eye exam for me and I had a through education on how to take good care of my vision and eyes. Kindly gave me contact lens samples to try out for a week. Staffs are also kind and fun.

He was open in his recommendations. I have great confidence in his referral to Northwest Eye Surgeons. I have difficulty, though, in contacting them on my own. And his location makes it hard to confer with him in Kirkland/Seattle traffic. Superior Vision insurance coverage is a definite plus! (He'll know who I am.)

Excellent care and knowledge with great advice. My comprehensive exam was quick, but complete, and digital imaging tools meant no dilation drops.

The office was disorganized and I had to wait for at least 20 minutes after the exam for the bill because the office help were taking calls and multi-tasking instead of just checking me out.
