“I arrived about 10min before my appointment. I was checked in immediately and brought back right at my appointment time. The front office person was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable about my insurance, even though it was out of state. We also had a lovely conversation when she brought me back. Dr. Golitz was very efficient, but also took the time to get to know me and the appointment didn’t feel rushed at all, which was really nice. Overall, I had a very positive experience and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this to folks in the area!
P.s. There’s a couple parking spots onsite, which I was able to snag, but it looked like there was a lot of street parking, too. Not sure if it’s always like this, but I was there around 3pm.”

About Dr. Michael Golitz
Dr. Golitz has owned the Eye & Contact Lens Center, a family eyecare practice in Kirkland, Washington, since 1989. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University and is highly regarded throughout the greater Seattle area for his expertise in Orthokeratology and specialty contact lenses, prescribing eyewear, and diagnosing medical conditions pertaining to the eye. When he is not in the office, Dr. Golitz enjoys many outdoor pursuits such as skiing, golf, hiking, and fly fishing.
In 2015, Dr. Golitz and his wife launched a care package business for teens and college students called hugabox, with 90% of the proceeds going to childhood cancer research. Through their advocacy work, they have sponsored Curefest, a growing national movement to make childhood cancer a national priority in the United States.
