Dr. Kim Burrell practices comprehensive ophthalmology specializing in cosmetic and refractive eye surgery. In 1994, Dr. Burrell moved to Colorado for a refractive surgery fellowship and shortly thereafter began private practice. Subsequently, she studied under several of the most prominent LASIK surgeons in North America.
Dr. Burrell has been performing refractive and cosmetic procedures since she began practicing ophthalmology and received an invitation to Spain to provide mission work in oculoplastic surgery.
Board certified by the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, Dr. Burrell is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and the Colorado Ophthalmologic Society.
Dr. Burrell has had her work published and teaches medical students both in an academic and clinical environment. She feels strongly about having her patients actively participate in their care and is passionate about her work.
The philosophy of Dr. Burrell's practice is to provide quality, comprehensive eye care in a friendly environment which is geared toward educating patients. This enables her patients to be actively involved in their own eye care.
