Hello Everyone,
My name is Kim McCoy. I am a PMHNP-BC in Illinois. I earned my Bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Xavier University and my Master's degree from U.I.C.'s psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. I have over twenty years of experience working as a registered nurse in psychiatry and with clients with dual diagnoses.
I work with all age groups, beginning at the age of six. I work with clients with PTSD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, MDD and GAD. I have worked with clients with a variety of mental health disorders. I assess, diagnose and treat mental health disorders. I provide therapy and prescribe medications to clients.

After 2+ years of struggling with finding a practitioner that has compassion, intelligence and is goal-oriented, I have finally found Kim McCoy. I have complete trust in her judgement, capabilities and I finally feel there is hope at the end of the tunnel. I cannot say enough positive things about her nor can I thank her enough. But I will write this review so that others who are struggling can connect with her for help.
