Dr. Shanmugam earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. She is a member of the Bexar County Optometric Society.
Prior to starting her own practice with Oasis Vision, Dr. Shanmugam had worked with various practices in Chicago, Milwaukee and San Antonio. She is currently a staff Optometrist at TLC Laser Eye Center. If you have any questions regarding refractive surgeries or cataract surgery, Dr. Shanmugam is here to help!
In her free time, Dr. Shanmugam enjoys dancing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

The Dr was great, as was the receptionist. My appointment was at 10:40 and I did not get to see the doctor until 12:20. The wait was too long for me to go back again.

Very professional and extremely courteous. Answered all my questions for both myself and my son. It was my son's first time with glasses so she made sure he understood what it meant with his current eye status. Great experience!!!
