About Dr. Ashlynn Nicole Dennington

Now accepting patients ages 5 and older! Dr. Dennington earned her Bachelor's degree in Vision Science from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She then continued her education at the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. A Texas native, Dr. Dennington grew up in Frisco, Texas, and now resides in San Antonio with her husband Mike, daughter Holland, and their dogs Raya and Punzel. In their free time, they enjoy weekends spent hunting and offshore fishing. When not hunting, they love taking trips to Disney World in Florida with friends and family. Her favorite time of year is from the first day of October through the New Year, filled with holidays to decorate for and special moments to share with loved ones. Dr. Dennington's hobbies include archery, dancing West Coast Swing, reading, and embracing her passion as a Disney Adult. She enjoys hearing your best book recommendations as well as your favorite rides and restaurants at Disney.
