She was great! I went in for a general gastroenterology consultation because I thought I had acid reflux and I'm currently on the Probiotics she recommended and awaiting my blood work. I'm going to make an appointment again with her to follow up. She overall was extremely friendly, helpful, and she paid attention to every word I said. I've used to ZocDoc before and honestly, I pick my doctors like I pick restaurants... if it's less than 4 stars on Google Maps, I'm not going. And ZocDoc is basically Yelp for doctors, and I was not at all mislead or disappointed. Totally would recommend.

Konika P. Bose, MD, founded the Gastroenterology Division at Riverside Medical Group in September 2015. Then in 2017, Dr. Bose joined Summit Medical Group. She sees patients at the Berkeley Heights office. Dr. Bose is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 and her medical degree from Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2007. Dr. Bose completed her Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2010 and completed a Transplant Hepatology fellowship at Montefiore in 2011. She then completed a Gastroenterology & Hepatology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Queens in 2015. She was awarded the Peter D. Stevens, MD Scholarship award and also has multiple publications and case reports in GI medical journals.
Dr. Bose has a special interest in Colon Cancer Screening, Hepatology, and Women’s Health. Her personal philosophy with patient care is, “I believe that the doctor and patient are a team working toward a common goal – to better the patient’s ailment. I try to give each and every patient the time and personal attention he/she deserves so that we can work together to have every patient working toward his/her healthcare goals. Went in for a consultation for IBS with diarrhea. Was prescribed a laxative. Seriously? I have enough trouble as it is! Obviously did not listen to my concerns. Will not be going back there.
