“the office staff could not comprehend the lack of a smart phone on my part. they could not comprehend cash payments and they could not comprehend why I was reluctant to email them my personal documents. they had no way of making a copy or scanning my info on a secure hipaa device (she was just going to take a photo and email it to herself) and so I fear their lack of technological understanding especially since they are linked into NYU Langone's system. as a teacher at a university, I am not even allowed to email my students their exams and have to send it to a secure site for them to download, which makes this whole scenario baffling to me. the office staff is not well trained in secure hipaa procedures and has little patience for anyone not conforming to their technology and gave serious attitude about it. the doctor was great - the desk staff was terrible. I recommend the dr but if he works out of a different office find it and go there.”

About Dr. Jared Braunstein

I am a 2005 graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), part of the New York Institute of Technology, where I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. I consider myself a very caring and thoughtful person. I believe it is very important for me, as a doctor, to go above and beyond for my patients and to make sure they receive the best care possible. Outside of medicine, I am an avid golfer.

I had the privilege to visited and being seen there.
Start from Front Desk, Ma, was amazing. Ma, she was very kind, professional, and amazing.
The PA, she made sure I got everything i needed, she was amazing as well, respectful, kind, great listener, pay attention to my words, professional and went above and beyond for my health. I totally would recommend them to my boyfriend, my friends my whole family lol. They’re that amazing.
The Phlebotomist, she was also professional, respectful, amazing and kind. She also great with finding vein, because I know my vein are hard to find lol, the fact that she did it, I give her 100 ??. Keep up the good works guys. This office deserves more than 5 stars, if I can give it more than that I would’ve.

Good experience no complaints. I did feel slightly rushed and I was looking to get a bit more thorough bloodwork done and kinda had to push for that. Pretty normal I guess for first time seeing a doctor. But I do with this wasn’t the case and I felt more heard.

I came in due to a leg injury. It was a very deep cut, very painful, and very scary experience. As I explained to him what happened the doctor immediately dismissed my injury once he saw it and called it a "superficial cut" in the most stoic way possible. He completely dismissed the way I was feeling and his lack of empathy threw me off. As the expert in the room, I expected a doctor to be professional and understanding. I did not appreciate him undermining what I thought of my injury as I am not an expert. After, I asked him to write a statement explaining my cut and he told me he lacked experience doing so and was oddly nervous. I did not appreciate his lack of professionalism and empathy throughout the process. I do not recommend seeing this doctor if you are looking for any sort of warm bedside manners or empathy.
