About Dr. Michiko Yoshifuji
Michiko is a Doctor of Acupuncture, having earned her degree from Pacific College of Health and Science, and holds a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. She is a Diplomate of Acupuncture, licensed in New York and New Jersey, and nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Michiko is trained in three styles of acupuncture: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM) with trigger point technique, and Kiiko Matsumoto's Systematic Japanese style. She integrates all three approaches to best address each patient's unique condition. She often combines other modalities including electroacupuncture, auricular acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, body and energy work, as well as nutrition and lifestyle counseling. The conditions she treats include, but are not limited to, pain, depression, anxiety, stress, chronic disease, digestive disorders, neurological disorders, and women's health.
Michiko is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and trained in Zero Balancing I and II, Reiki, Tuina and Anma massage, and Neurofunctional Acupuncture, which focuses on treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction with contemporary acupuncture.
Passionate about offering patient-centered care, Michiko aims to improve each patient's condition and quality of life. With every session, she views the person as a whole and treats every patient with mindful care and compassion.
She is also a certified Holistic Health Counselor and a certified Japanese Calligraphy Instructor.

She was nice. She listened to my history and explained me everything she could about acupuncture. The office was clean. Facility was nice too. The session was good too. I think they could have told me about co-pay in advance (but it was genuine mistake I think). Also, the payment method could have been more secure.

The office was a little hard to find the first time, so give yourself time to get there to find parking I arrived RIGHT on schedule, and I was greeted with a warm smile and a kind welcome. It was a bit of a relief (I don’t like being late- and I left in time to be early). She listened, asked ME some questions, made suggestions, (for me to look into)… and was thorough. She was swift and efficient. We proceeded to the Accupuncture room. I was talked through the whole process. I actually fell asleep! I could feel the tingling. I do want to go again. Very professional and sincere.
