Kristi is a fabulous provider - she was very thorough and respectful. She is a great listener and offered some good solutions for my concerns. I felt very comfortable right away. Also, the MA was absolutely fabulous. I’ve worked in a hospital setting for over 8 years and I would absolutely say Kristi and her team are valuable resources for patients!

More about Kristi Loehr, PA-C
Kristi Ann Loehr, PA, is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. She pursued a career in health care to encourage patients to take an active role in their health and to offer compassion and understanding to those who may be apprehensive about medicine. Ms. Loehr earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Her expertise focuses on primary and preventive care in the adult population. “I find it rewarding to work closely with patients, diagnose illnesses, provide treatment, and contribute to their overall well-being,” she said.
Her approach to patient care centers around the belief that everyone is unique, and their health care should be approached with a focus on individualized treatment. Ms. Loehr believes in treating the whole patient. “I consider not only their physical ailments but also their emotional, mental, and social well-being,” she explained.
As an extension of her practice philosophy, the most important thing to Ms. Loehr during a patient visit is establishing trust and facilitating open communication. By listening to her patients’ needs and earning their trust, she can develop an appropriate care plan geared toward success and good health.
When she is not treating patients in the office, Ms. Loehr enjoys reading a good book, taking a spin class, or hiking—preferably through National Parks. She is also passionate about preventive medicine. By educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and emphasizing the significance of preventive screenings, vaccinations, and early detection of potential health risks, she hopes to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health.

I arrived about 20 minutes early. Took about 20-30 minutes to get me into the room and then only a few minutes for the nurse then PA to come in. Which is fairly fast maybe slightly below average but perfectly acceptable wait time. PA Loehr was more thorough than any other practitioner’s I’ve seen. They took the time to really understand my needs and not just push me to the side. With that said PA Loehr was super kind and helpful. Did not try to sell me any referrals tests or any other garbage like that. They genuinely listened addressed my concerns and I was on my way with the added knowledge i was looking for. Loehr was recommended to me and I’d recommend her as well she was probably the best I’ve seen!

Went in for regular physical, blood work, and also a minor rash. Kristi was able to book me an appointment 30 mins later for a dermatologist nearby to look at the rash. It was very easy on me, and great to have everything checked out at two doctors within an hour.

takes into account all factors when treating a patient, chronic diseases were given mind even going in for an acute infection. Very thorough, kind and speaks in a manner easy to understand. I definitely would recommend her!
