I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. I spent the first half of my career working with families and youth in hospitals, school, and intensive outpatient programs. For the past 10 years I've worked in outpatient settings, primarily with adults. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma-informed care. I'm located in Utah, and while I am not LDS, I am LDS aware. My model of care utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which focuses on ways in which your thoughts may lead to actions that can contribute to problems – and on how you can address these problems by thinking or acting a little differently. CBT has been demonstrated to be an effective means of treating social and emotional symptoms using specific skills to reduce distress and improve relationships.
