Dr. Kristy R. Kennedy received her B.S. in 2003 from LSU in Baton Rouge and medical degree in 2007 from LSU New Orleans. She completed her internship in internal medicine in 2008 and dermatology residency, where she was chief resident, in 2011, both at the University of Tennessee. After completing her training, she was on faculty for the university, teaching students and residents, as well as caring for patients, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, TN. Dr. Kennedy returned to south Louisiana in the summer of 2012 and joined Dr. Dupree in the fall. She and her husband, Dr. Adam Kennedy, reside in Lafayette, his hometown, with their four children, Wally, Lilly, James, and Graham.

Dr. Kennedy was recommended to me. I wasn't disappointed in the recommendation. I had a great visit with her. I was seen right on time (if not a little before my scheduled appointment time). Her office is set up well and very clean. She was very nice, asked a lot of questions and allowed ME to ask questions in return. Dr. Kennedy's staff was very courteous and professional both on the phone and in person. If you are shopping around for a Dermatologist, hurry and catch this one.

I filled in my paperwork online ahead of time so that saved me from having extra waiting time in the lobby. There was only a few people waiting, so I got called in no time. Dr. Kennedy listed to all of my concerns and questions. Very nice office, clean building, and friendly staff.

My visit with Dr Kennedy was great and informative. My paperwork was lost in the shuffle and therefore I was not seen in the order that I should have. That was very upsetting to know I was lost in the shuffle.

My visit was quite quick and what I went for was taken care of right then & there - awesome!!! Dr. Kristy and her staff were very friendly and easy to talk to.
The only downside was finding the office...perhaps put some big numbers on the side of the building so visible from College St. :o)

Dr Kennedy is great with my son. He is "all boy" and moves a bunch! She is able to get him treated quickly and does it with some fun. He says she is like Elsa and has freezing powers :)
