Dr Phelps is excellent! She is thorough, patient, smart and obviously highly qualified. I had a lot of questions and she took the time to address each one. I come from a large family and she very methodically reviewed my family medical history and provided a lot of insight. I was so impressed by her professionalism
and the time she took getting to know me and my medical history. Not to mention the entire staff is so friendly, responsive and professional. I can't say enough!

A native of Virginia, Dr. Phelps attended Rutgers University as the James Dickson Carr Scholar and part of the Honors Program. She obtained her MD from Temple University Medical School, during which she did a year of GI research and where she was a Johnson & Johnson/Yale University Physician Scholar. This was followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University & then Morristown Memorial Hospitals. She took first place at the Internal Medicine Resident Research Day in 2008. She worked as a Hospitalist for a year at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, and since has worked in Trenton & Lakewood to repay her National Health Services Corp scholarship. She joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 2014 and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Awesome doctor, unfortunately I moved away, so I only saw her once. But she listened to my concerns, went through all of the medical documents I brought (which I did not expect but definitely appreciated), etc. She spent a good amount of time with me and I walked away feeling like I said everything I needed to, which is rare nowadays. I definitely recommend her.

I really like Dr. Phelps. She does a great job making me feel comfortable and at east to discuss any medical concerns i have. She and everyone at Hightstown medical Group are highly professional and excel at what they do. My family uses this practice and would highly recommend HMG to friends or anyone looking for quality medical care.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Phelps, she was such an amazing beacon of light. Completely personable for my first visit and made sure my visit went well. She is my new primary doctor and i'm glad I see I made the best choice.
