Dr. LaDonna C. Bense, a Missouri native, graduated in 1990 from St. Louis University with Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. For several years Dr. Bense had a successful career in the chemical industry where she did such tasks as develop UV curable coating for engines, validation work for TUMS at SmithKline Beechem, and was instrumental in the research and development of a radioactive heart imaging agent for detecting early cancer cells.
Although she enjoyed her career as a chemist, she decided to pursue her long time dream of helping people improve their health through Chiropractic care. Dr. Bense received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree when she graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1999. She continued her studies and received her Certification in Acupuncture.
Dr. Bense scored high enough on her board exams, permitting her to practice anywhere nationally, but decided to open up shop in her home town of St. Louis. After an enjoyable time in practice there, Dr. LaDonna and her family had an opportunity to relocate to Switzerland. There, she was able to broaden the scope of her chiropractic practice internationally. Besides utilizing several chiropractic techniques to care for all her patients,
Dr. LaDonna has had special experience in working with expecting mothers, helping their bodies transition over the nine months, relieve pregnancy discomfort and prepare them for a smooth delivery. She has also had the opportunity to care for the "little blessings" from infant on. Desiring the best opportunities her family, Dr. LaDonna moved back to the States, and decided to relocate to Georgia. Acworth was the perfect place to raise her daughter, Kennedy and son, Lucas. Dr. LaDonna also has an adopted daughter, Alison, from Russia, who still resides in Switzerland

The dr. & staff were knowledgeable & friendly. I didn't even mind being seen later than scheduled. What disturbed me is 95% of the staff, including the clients weren't wearing mask or socially distancing. I want to return, but can't risk my health.

I loved my visits with LaDonna! I went to a series of appointments after discovering I have several spinal issues, which she helped me address. My only complaint is that I wasn’t educated further on spinal stenosis upon diagnosis or given a reference for a specialist. I discovered a LOT of info upon happening to mention it to my PC.

This was my first visit to Back in LIne. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. While undergoing treatment, I was often checked on to make sure I was doing well. Dr. Bense was took her time even though her office was busy. She was very thorough and continually informed me of what to expect next. I would gladly refer friends to Back in LIne.

A little too much of a sales environment. I was the only one to meet Dr. Bense and she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. My husband's experience has not been that awesome as he has been twice and have not had the pleasure of seeing the doctor. He went on a Saturday in pain and had to reschedule due to the doctor not being in the office.

As usual, my visit was pleasant. I was greeted right when I walked in the doors, and the ladies knew who I was and greeted me by name. I was taken immediately back to the roller bed, and then seen quickly by Dr. Bense. Overall a good visit and I am in less pain after my visit.

I was very pleased, especially with the wonderfully friendly atmosphere everybody creates. I also appreciate how everybody makes me feel welcome and appreciated. Dr. Bense is GREAT about explaining what's going on with my situation and what she is doing to help fix it through the adjustment process. She always make me feel that she does care about my well-being and is supportive in my care plan.
