About Dr. Tim Ehmer

Dr. Tim Ehmer, D.C., is originally from Massillon, OH. He is an avid soccer player and has been playing his whole life. He attended Kent State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2015. As a registered Exercise Physiologist, he became passionate about helping others change their lives through exercise and nutrition. He utilizes preventative measures and complementary approaches to create changes in their bodies, as well as improve their health and overall quality of life. This passion led him to pursue chiropractic. Dr. Tim moved to Georgia in 2018 to attend Life University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2021. His hobbies include cooking, music (he plays five instruments), reading, movies, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Most relevant

I was under the impression they were in network according to their page on Zocdoc. After I booked the appointment I was notified that I would need to pay a certain amount for the first appointment until they verified my insurance and if it was determined that it was in network, it would be credited to your account. It felt sketchy because ZocDoc said they accepted my insurance, but I had really bad back pain and I needed to be seen by someone asap. Literally as I was leaving my appointment I was told my insurance was out of network & that I would need to pay out of pocket for sessions, from there I was told of a plan they have to cover for out of network patients. Ultimately,I felt as if it was a bait & switch to get me to pay money for something I was under the impression insurance covered. Other than that, the staff was polite & I received a pretty good adjustment. My only advice is to confirm if they are in network before your first appointment. Not everyone has cash to burn.
