Dr. Abhyankar was so wonderful, I came to her to set up primary care and talk about some mental health issues. This is a sensitive and nuanced topic and she was thorough and thoughtful in discussing my options with me -- which is not the experience I've had with every doctor on this subject. I am grateful to have found her and look forward to being a patient for years to come.

Lalita Abhyankar, MD, chose family medicine as a specialty not only because it aligned with her core value that health is about the whole person over the span of their whole life, but also because she believes primary care improves the health of our communities.
As a family physician, she has worked with patients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, orientations, and economic statuses. From her patients, she’s learned that even subtle changes in internal and external environments can profoundly impact individual health. Her philosophy is that, ultimately, good health is a balance between the uncertainty of life and our agency to care for ourselves.
Her other interests include patient and primary care advocacy, medical education, and storytelling through audio, visual, and written media. As a physician at Carbon Health, she believes technology can increase access to primary care, decrease complexity and cost for patients, and alleviate the burden on individual clinicians and the healthcare system at large. The cleanliness of the office. I love the sleek modern feel to the office. The use of modern technology and minimalist approach to the office is fantastic. No more writing out long sheets at the office, they have tablets available for all applications

Finally! I have been in search of a primary care doctor for years. I’ve been filling in with my Obgyn, urgent care and acupuncturist I wasn’t optimistic at all. This visit was so helpful and feel like I can actually start a medical relationship here. What a relief.
