In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe that the role of the primary care provider is to provide comprehensive care. Comprehensive care must consider AND integrate the physical, socioeconomic, psychological and behavioral health needs of each patient in order to provide holistic, quality care.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, hiking, reading and traveling to new destinations.

Most of my experiences with providers are about 5 minutes of them asking me questions about a problem, and then prescribing me more medication that usually has worse side effects. But when I went in, I told her about an issue and she looked at the entire timeline of all my medications and changes, and found which medication was causing my problem. I substituted it out, and haven't had the problem since. She was very comprehensive and knowledgeable.
