Very friendly and professional staff. I had an approximately 15 minute wait in the exam room due to the previous appointment running over, which was not a problem for me, but which the staff and Dr. Bohman were very apologetic about. Very clean and new looking facilities. Dr. Bohman made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. One of the best medical experiences I have had in a while, and would highly recommend Dr. Bohman.

Dr. Bohman was born and raised in the small, rural community of Versailles, Ohio. She harbored an early love for movement and sports, participating in dance and cheerleading throughout school. She completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University and then completed her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. “I wanted to be a surgeon with a focused specialization and an in-depth understanding of biomechanics, injuries, and rehabilitation,” she said of her studies, “which naturally led me to podiatry.”
During her residency, Dr. Bohman received an award from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine for the highest in-training resident examination score of her post-graduate training year. Despite her demanding schedule, Dr. Bohman found time to run competitively, participating in the Cincinnati Flying Pig half-marathon, and gave back to the community by working in the medical tent at the Boston Marathon.
Dr. Bohman enjoys performing and learning about the latest techniques in minimally-invasive surgeries, such as arthroscopic and tendoscopic procedures to help athletes get back to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. “After understanding more about my specialty, I was able to understand myself as an athlete. Staying healthy and injury-free is important in my life, and it is something I want to help my patients to achieve.” She also enjoys the special challenges of reconstructive surgery for forefoot and rearfoot deformities.
Dr. Bohman currently lives in Santa Monica, CA. Outside of work, she loves to cook, run, hike, and bike with her husband Pete and their dog, Wally. She also makes jewelry and is looking forward to learning how to sail on the beautiful California coast.
